the designer

You Lucky Girl Jewelry debuted late in
2003 by owner/designer Annie Farschon. Originally the line was named
after the her, but was changed to capture the feeling that Annie
wanted her customers to feel after purchasing her pieces. "My customers should feel excited about each purchase."
Annie got her jewelry making start like so many others when she
began making pieces for herself and as gifts for her friends. She
was soon getting stopped on the street by discerning gals who wanted
to buy her pieces on the spot. Having taken several jewelry
making classing at The Guilford Art Center in Guilford, CT Annie felt prepared for this undertaking. So, after years
of working as a teacher, she decided to follow her passion and turn what
had started out as a hobby into a business.
the designs

Annie loves to
let the beauty and individuality of the stones guide her design
choices. "Some stones have such beautiful characteristics." In
keeping with her creative philosophy, Annie is dedicated to using
the quality materials that won’t break the bank: handpicked stones,
freshwater pearls, shell pendants, and sterling silver. She takes
pride in the fact that she
designs every piece and that it’s all handmade, not mass-produced. You
Lucky Girl pieces are for women that want fashionable, stylish, classic
jewelry.
Although
You Lucky Girl jewelry
has found homes in several fabulous boutiques, much of it’s business
lies in private and semi-private trunk shows. Since You Lucky Girl’s
launch, The Washington Post, The Examiner, Lucky on-line, The
Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily Candy, and
ThePinkPuppy.com are a few
of the critics that have recognized the distinct beauty of You Lucky
Girl
jewelry.
the women behind the names

Each You Lucky
Girl piece has been named after a famous woman in history or
entertainment. "There are so many wonderful women who've
accomplished wonderful things I felt the need to celebrate them." The list of celebrated women continues to grow as each
You Lucky Girl piece is created. To learn more about the famous
